I chose to live in Newfoundland because of the people and the amazing rugged beauty. I moved at a time in my life where I was making a major change and needed a totally different place to live. As a pilot, I'd been flying into here for years and already knew it held a charm for me. From East Coast to West Coast of this great island, I've hiked, travelled and met some great people. Stately Reminder
The Colonial Building undergoes extensive renovations to restore it to it's 1850 grandeur, when it stood as Newfoundland's Legislature. Newfoundland won the right to Representative Government in 1832 up until it joined Canada in 1949.
